This was my first book by Jamie Carie and I wasn't too terribly disappointed but I wasn't too terribly impressed either. I liked the story and I even enjoyed the cliff hanger at the end. Something about it seemed to just seem ho-hum. If given the chance to preview more in this series, I probably would do it, mostly to find out the ending!
If you're looking for just lightly semi-mindless reading, go ahead and take a chance on this one.
